A retrospective: Archiprix 2026 Jury Days

The Open Vision Archiprix 2026 exhibition, showcasing the projects of 26 nominated graduates from Dutch master’s programs in Architecture, Urban Design, Interior Architecture, and Landscape Architecture, was recently on display at the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment at TU Delft. Together, these projects illustrate a landscape of perspectives, topics, and themes at the heart of contemporary society: by making space for water, by housing marginalized groups or by not extracting landscapes. And through these interventions, they address new avenues for urban, landscape, interior and architectural design.

While the exhibition was on display in Delft, the jury gathered to assess the entries. During two full days, the jury carefully reviewed and evaluated the different aspects of all the projects. Saskia van Stein (IABR) served as chair without a vote, and Anne Hoogewoning was present to record the jury's report. Altogether, the projects breathe the essence of what these designers have taken away from their academic education: a critical mindset, a sense of contemporary societal urgency, artistic experimentation, and a deeply personal design ethos.

The Archiprix Open Vision exhibition is on display at Casa Vertigo, TU/e until April 28th.
