From March 4th until March 16th, the Archiprix 2026 Open Vision was exhibited in the orange Oostserre of the Faculty of Architecture and the Build Environment, Technical University Delft (TU Delft).
The annual placement of the exhibition at the BK Expo offers an important source of inspiration for the architecture students studying at TU Delft.
On March 2nd, a team of enthusiastic (architecture) students build up the recognisable mint green panel walls designed by architect Victor Mani. On March 3rd, the 26 recently graduated designers came to mount their projects in one of the five chapters of the exhibition: Enchanting the Everyday, Softening the City, Generous Gestures, Ecologies of Repair, and Constructive Foraging.
This year, on invitation of IABR, the Brussels based architecture collective Verloren Bekisting, designed and built a set of furniture pieces. From the mint green panels, they created benches, pedestals and an introduction space, all very much in line with their ‘radical recyling’ design method. The central introduction object screened a film in which the 26 Archiprix nominees speak about their thoughts and projects.
The visual identity of the introduction panels and the project descriptions was created by graphic designer Hannah Kansy. This year, the design complimented the mint green panels with a vibrant pink colour scheme.
The realisation of the Archiprix 2026 exhibition at TU Delft, would not have been possible without the commitment of:
